A)   As Old Government House is the residence of the Lieutenant-Governor, motor homes and recreational vehicles and "camping" are not permitted on the grounds of Old Government House. Vendors may park motor homes and recreational vehicles at the Exhibition Grounds, about 2 blocks from Old Government House.

B)   Vendors are required to provide their own protection from the weather (sun and rain), tables and chairs.

C)   Temporary electrical services will be available for the weekend. The Games can guarantee only one 15 ampere outlet per vendor, without prior arrangements for larger capacity circuits. If you require electricity for your concession, please indicate your needs on the application and bring a heavy duty electrical cord (200 feet or longer). We regret that portable generators will not be permitted.

D)   Water is to be provided by the vendor.

E)   Admission to the Games site will be by ticket only. Two tickets per day will be provided to you as part of the Registration Fee. Additional tickets may be purchased at the Admission Gate.

F)   Concessions should be set up on the afternoon of Friday, July 28, 2006 before 1730 (5:30 pm).

G)   Vehicles will be allowed on site from 0730 to 0900 and after 1700 on Saturday and Sunday. Parking is available next to the site.

H)   Concessions will be allowed to open on Friday evening. On Saturday and Sunday, food concessions should be open by 0800 and all others should be open by 1000. All concessions should remain open until after the closing ceremonies, at approximately 1630 each day.

I)   Health and Fire Safety Inspectors may inspect over the weekend and have the right to close concessions if standards are not met, The Highland Games is not responsible for any loss of revenue.

J)   Food concessions must provide a fire extinguisher.

K)   Concessions are responsible for the disposal of all garbage to the dumpster provided behind the city garage.

Food Vendors - You will be notified by June 30th what company will be the official sponsor of all beverages (soft drinks and water). These beverages will be on sale from the Games Committee or you may provide your own, but only beverages from the official sponsor may be sold on site.
