Welcome Friends!!
The New Brunswick Highland Games and Scottish Festival wishes to acknowledge the financial contributions of the listed “Friends of the Games” as well as those who wish to remain anonymous. Last year Friends of the Games exceeded expectations and raised $10,000!!! We are extremely proud of this tremendous cultural gift to the people of New Brunswick.
Volunteers are working hard on the final preparations for the NB Highland Games and Scottish Festival weekend. There will be so much to do, you will definitely want to take advantage of the prime viewing, refreshments and friendly, comfortable surroundings of the Friends/VIP Tent. Remember, this tent is a special reward open only to Friends of the Games, sponsors and invited VIP guests.
An exciting weekend July 25-27 2008 waits:
- Friday night Tattoo
- Traditional Ceilidh in the Ceilidh Tent following the Tattoo
- Saturday night Ceilidh
- A multitude of pipers and drummers all weekend, so don’t miss the Opening Ceremonies on Saturday
- The ever popular Heavy Events
- Workshops in Celtic instruments, Scottish dance and genealogy
- Musical entertainment all weekend
- Family and Kids Corner with mini golf, face painting, crafts and more
- Highland Dancing
- Avenue of the Clans
- And much, much more!

We need your generous contribution to help continue our proud tradition into our 27th year.
With your Friends' pass you are entitled all weekend access to the comfortable, dry and shady VIP/Friends Tent. In this very tent you face no line ups for refreshments and complimentary snacks.
